Queens spans dense pre-war apartment corridors, detached housing on the eastern edge, and a Rockaway shoreline where wind-driven rain and flood history dominate every water question. We provide electrical infrared inspection across every neighborhood listed below, using a FLIR E96 thermal camera and confirming each finding with a second instrument before it reaches your report.

Across Queens
The same service, different buildings.
Queens covers several distinct kinds of building, and each one fails differently. Here's what electrical infrared inspection looks like in the ones we work in most.
Waterfront and low-lying property exposed to salt air
Salt air is hard on terminations and enclosures. Thermal scanning finds corroded connections developing resistance well before they fail, which is the failure mode that matters most in a flood-exposed building.
Detached single-family houses
Panels that have been extended over years to serve additions, pools, and finished basements are a frequent source of overloading and loose connections. Thermal scanning shows which circuits are actually carrying more than they should.
Pre-war elevator apartment buildings and post-war co-ops
House panels, boiler-room equipment, compactor and elevator feeders carry heavy continuous load. An annual thermal survey catches the loose lug or overloaded phase before it takes out an elevator or a heating plant mid-season.
High-rise commercial and residential towers
Switchgear, transformers, distribution sections, and motor control centers under continuous load are the classic case for infrared. Findings are ranked by severity so repairs can be scheduled into planned shutdowns rather than triggered by a failure.
A plumber who finds your leak also sells you the repair. A roofer who inspects your roof also quotes the replacement. That isn't dishonesty — it's structure, and it quietly shapes every finding. We are an independent diagnostic company: we do not perform repairs, we do not sell materials, and we take no referral fee from any contractor. The report is the entire product, so there is nothing for us to gain by finding more than is there.
No repair revenue
We can't profit from the work we recommend, because we don't do the work. If your roof is 8% wet, the report says 8% — not "replace the field."
No referral fees
We accept nothing from contractors for sending work their way. Take our findings to your own plumber, roofer, or electrician, or put them out to bid.
Findings that carry weight
Boards, managing agents, and insurance carriers treat an independent finding differently than an estimate from the company that wants the job.
We'll tell you it's nothing
Sometimes the answer is condensation, or a warm duct, or a neighbor's roof. We're paid the same either way, so we say so.
