Detached single-family houses
Below-grade water, window and door flashing, and roof-to-wall transitions account for most intrusion. Infrared identifies the entry point before finished basement walls are opened.

New Haven County, Connecticut
The New Haven County towns we cover run from the shoreline in Milford, Guilford and Madison to inland suburbs such as Hamden, Cheshire and Southbury, mostly detached houses on basements, with low-slope roofs on local commercial and school buildings. We provide water intrusion investigation across every town listed below, using a FLIR E96 thermal camera and confirming each finding with a second instrument before it reaches your report.

Across New Haven County
New Haven County covers several distinct kinds of building, and each one fails differently. Here's what water intrusion investigation looks like in the ones we work in most.
Below-grade water, window and door flashing, and roof-to-wall transitions account for most intrusion. Infrared identifies the entry point before finished basement walls are opened.
Wind-driven rain finds entry points that ordinary rain never reaches, and flood history leaves moisture in assemblies long after the visible damage is repaired. Infrared maps what is still wet inside the structure.
Coverage
Why us and not a plumber
A plumber who finds your leak also sells you the repair. A roofer who inspects your roof also quotes the replacement. That isn't dishonesty — it's structure, and it quietly shapes every finding. We are an independent diagnostic company: we do not perform repairs, we do not sell materials, and we take no referral fee from any contractor. The report is the entire product, so there is nothing for us to gain by finding more than is there.
We can't profit from the work we recommend, because we don't do the work. If your roof is 8% wet, the report says 8% — not "replace the field."
We accept nothing from contractors for sending work their way. Take our findings to your own plumber, roofer, or electrician, or put them out to bid.
Boards, managing agents, and insurance carriers treat an independent finding differently than an estimate from the company that wants the job.
Sometimes the answer is condensation, or a warm duct, or a neighbor's roof. We're paid the same either way, so we say so.
